Erin Sheehan

Erin Sheehan, a pre-licensed professional therapist, adopts a client-centered, warm, and gentle approach to therapeutic care. She believes that individuals possess the internal resources necessary to address and resolve the challenges they face, with therapy serving as a valuable guiding tool in this journey. Erin emphasizes that the therapeutic relationship is a significant predictor of success, making the alliance formed within therapy a key element of her practice. She dedicates time to understanding her clients—exploring what is important to them, as well as their passions and pain—aligning this understanding with their desires for a fulfilling life. Utilizing solution-focused and narrative approaches, Erin's therapy fosters personal growth and empowerment. She holds a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University, with a concentration in Trauma & Violence, and has gained experience providing mental health services in diverse settings including hospitals, public schools, and outpatient therapy offices, serving both teenagers and adults. A fun fact about Erin is that she is adopted from Romania!
