Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Jamaica Plain, MA, is dedicated to providing free nutrition assistance and health education to support the well-being of pregnant women, new mothers, and children under the age of five. Our mission is to ensure that families have access to nutritious food, breastfeeding support, and essential health services. WIC offers personalized nutrition consultations, free healthy food, and valuable referrals for medical and dental care, health insurance, child care, and housing assistance. We understand that the care of children is a collective effort, and we warmly welcome fathers, guardians, and family members to participate in our nutrition workshops and appointments. Those who are receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard automatically qualify for our services, as do foster children.
