The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Hyde Park, MA, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families by providing personalized nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and essential supplies such as breast pumps and educational materials. Families enrolled in our program receive a debit card to buy wholesome foods, including milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, tailored specifically to their needs. In addition, we offer valuable information and referrals to other community resources, including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. Eligible participants include those currently receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, as well as foster children under age five. We are here to support you in creating a healthier future for your family.
