Baby Steps

Located in Hyde Park, MA, Baby Steps is dedicated to supporting the development and nutrition of former premature infants and those with complex newborn histories. Our multidisciplinary team at the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center includes skilled developmental and behavioral pediatricians, occupational therapists, and two experienced dietitians. We provide comprehensive developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments tailored to each child's needs. Our compassionate family outreach advocate connects families with critical community-based services and resources. We offer personalized evaluations and recommendations for early intervention services, along with specialized nutritional guidance and medical management. For babies facing challenges with diet or weight gain, our dedicated dietitian conducts home visits to provide tailored feeding plans and support. We also schedule feeding assessments for infants experiencing specific feeding difficulties, ensuring ongoing follow-up and care that meets the unique needs of every child and family.
