Gina Cipolla

Gina Cipolla, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety disorders, and trauma. Gina is dedicated to supporting individuals with co-morbid diagnoses and those who find themselves struggling with maladaptive coping mechanisms such as self-harm and self-sabotage. With experience in various mental health settings, including partial hospitalization programs, eating disorder facilities, and alternative schools, she possesses a robust understanding of the mental health landscape. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree from Suffolk University and a Master’s Degree from Simmons School of Social Work, Gina employs a variety of therapeutic techniques, notably cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. As a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), she is committed to promoting the Health At Every Size principles. When appropriate, Gina also utilizes exposure therapy to foster healing. Her primary goal is to help clients build awareness, reconnect with themselves, and create truly fulfilling lives. Passionate about enhancing her clients' relationships with food and their bodies, Gina aims to empower them through effective coping strategies while navigating life's challenges.
