The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Gloucester, MA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to age five. Our program provides essential nutrition education and counseling tailored to the unique needs of mothers and young children. We offer breastfeeding support and resources, including supplies and educational materials. Participants receive a debit card to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables, allowing families to create customized food packages. Additionally, we connect families with a range of community resources, including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. If you receive TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you may be automatically eligible for WIC, including foster children under five. Our team is here to support you in achieving your family's nutritional goals.
