Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Framingham, MA, is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years of age. Participants are empowered to make healthy food choices with a debit card to purchase nutritious items such as milk, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, ensuring a customized food package that best meets their family’s needs. Additionally, we connect families to various community resources, including SNAP, housing assistance, and daycare services, enhancing overall support. Eligibility for WIC is straightforward—individuals currently receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth are automatically qualified, as are foster children under the age of five.
