Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Dorchester Center, MA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under the age of five. This no-cost nutrition assistance program offers comprehensive services including nutrition education, access to healthy food, breastfeeding support, and vital referrals to healthcare and community services. WIC is open to fathers, mothers, grandparents, and other legal guardians regardless of employment status. With personalized consultations and a focus on family dialogue around nutrition, WIC not only fosters healthy eating habits but also connects families with resources for child care, housing, and medical care. Families receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard are automatically income eligible, and foster children under five are also welcome. Together, we strive to strengthen family bonds while ensuring our youngest community members thrive.
