Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford in Chestnut Hill, MA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that everyone facing food insecurity has access to nutritious meals. Each family may receive emergency food once a week to help meet their basic nutritional needs. To prioritize health and safety during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented a pre-bagging system to limit contact. Clients are welcomed to wait outside and receive their pre-bagged food while maintaining a safe distance. We encourage clients to bring reusable bags for easier transport, as we are committed to serving our community with care and respect during these challenging times.
