At Baby Steps in Chelsea, MA, we are dedicated to supporting the healthy development of former premature infants and those with complex newborn courses. Our multidisciplinary clinic, part of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, brings together experienced developmental and behavioral pediatricians, occupational therapists, and dietitians to provide comprehensive developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments. We understand the challenges families face, which is why our family outreach advocate is here to connect you with vital community-based services and resources. Our mission is to ensure every child receives the appropriate developmental services, such as Early Intervention, along with personalized nutritional guidance and medical management. For infants struggling with feeding or weight gain, our dietitian even conducts home visits to create individualized feeding plans. We also offer feeding assessments for those facing specific feeding challenges. Following an initial evaluation, we schedule ongoing follow-ups tailored to the unique needs of each child and family, ensuring that support continues throughout their development journey.
