Food Pantry

Located in Cambridge, MA, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford's food pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. We serve a diverse community, including low-income families, single parents, seniors, disabled veterans, and the working poor, ensuring that no one goes hungry. Each family can access emergency food supplies weekly, tailored to meet basic nutritional needs. In response to COVID-19, we have implemented a thoughtful pre-bagging system for food distribution, designed to protect both clients and volunteers. We ask all clients to maintain social distancing while waiting outside for their pre-bagged groceries, and we encourage the use of reusable bags to facilitate easy transport. Our mission is to offer compassionate support and nourishment to our neighbors in Cambridge, fostering a sense of community and caring for those we serve.
