Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a vital nutrition program dedicated to ensuring the health of families in Brockton, MA. Our mission is to support pregnant and breastfeeding women, along with children under the age of 5, by offering free access to nutritious food and comprehensive services tailored to their needs. Participants receive not only healthy food but also valuable nutrition education and breastfeeding support, empowering families to make informed choices. WIC facilitates essential referrals for medical and dental care, health insurance, childcare, housing, and fuel assistance, creating a holistic approach to family wellness. Enrollment is streamlined for those already receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard (Medicaid), with automatic eligibility for foster children under 5. We also invite fathers, grandparents, stepparents, and other guardians to engage in the program, attend workshops, and participate actively in their children's health journey.
