Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Braintree, MA US
At the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Braintree, MA, we are dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children from birth to five years old. Our program offers comprehensive nutrition education and counseling tailored to the unique needs of women and families. We provide essential breastfeeding guidance and educational materials, as well as breastfeeding supplies like breast pumps. Participants receive a convenient debit card to purchase nutrient-rich foods including milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and an array of fresh fruits and vegetables, with personalized support from our counselors to create the best food packages for each family. WIC also connects families with other vital community resources such as SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. If you are currently receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you are automatically income eligible for our program, and we welcome foster children under age 5 as well. Join us at WIC to empower your family’s nutrition and health.
