Meredith Walker

Meredith Walker, LICSW, is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals in navigating life's challenges. She believes that a year from now, clients will wish they had started their journey today. By collaborating with Meredith, clients will experience a nurturing environment that fosters insight, helps them build new strategies, and effectively addresses core issues that affect their relationships and professional lives. Meredith's approach emphasizes increasing flexibility in thinking and engagement, allowing clients to break free from unhelpful patterns and embrace their true selves. With a distinguished background that includes graduating from Smith College School for Social Work, completing a post-graduate fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance, and obtaining a Certificate in Sex Therapy from the University of Michigan, Meredith combines her extensive expertise with a supportive, active, and warm style of therapy. Her practice, which encompasses both long and short-term therapy, specifically focuses on gender and sexuality issues, including identity, affirmation, coming out, and intimacy. Meredith specializes in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and is kink and poly-friendly, welcoming individuals from all walks of life into her practice to facilitate meaningful change and growth.
