Baby Steps

Baby Steps, located in Boston, MA, is dedicated to supporting the unique needs of former premature infants and infants with complicated newborn experiences through comprehensive developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments. Our multidisciplinary clinic, part of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, is equipped with a team of skilled professionals, including a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, occupational therapists, and two experienced dietitians. We focus on providing tailored recommendations for appropriate developmental services such as Early Intervention and customized nutritional guidance. For infants experiencing feeding challenges or difficulty with weight gain, our dietitian offers in-home visits to observe feeding practices and develop actionable feeding plans. We also provide specialized feeding assessments for those with specific difficulties. Our commitment extends beyond initial evaluations, ensuring families receive ongoing follow-up and support based on their child’s evolving needs, all while connecting families to vital community-based resources.
