Dr. Daniel Goldberg, PhD, is a seasoned therapist with over 25 years of experience in private practice and teaching. He specializes in working with adults, couples, and adolescents, focusing on issues such as depression, marital and premarital challenges, and relational conflicts. Dr. Goldberg believes that the most crucial element of psychotherapy is the bond formed between the therapist and the individual or couple. His approach combines warmth, humor, and a deep understanding of the root causes of challenges, creating a safe environment for clients to navigate their unique difficulties. He has received over 15 years of advanced training in psychodynamic therapy, couples therapy (including Imago and Emotionally Focused Therapy), family dynamics, and sex therapy, as well as expertise in EMDR and Jungian psychology. Serving as the former Director of the Couples Therapy Training Program of New Jersey, Dr. Goldberg now incorporates mindfulness practices, alongside non-dual Buddhist and Kabbalistic healing modalities, into his work. He collaborates with psychiatrists when necessary to address life-altering symptoms effectively. Committed to authenticity in therapy, Dr. Goldberg assists individuals in thoughtfully examining and resolving unfulfilling patterns in their lives.
