I am Dr. Joyce Maguire Pavao, the founder and CEO of the Center For Family Connections, Inc. (CFFC), established in 1995 and continuing operations until 2012. I also founded the Adoption Resource Center in 1978 and PACT (Pre/Post Adoption Consulting and Training) in 1982. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to building comprehensive post-adoption services and have provided training on these topics both nationally and internationally. As a Lecturer in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, I have authored 'The Family of Adoption' (1998/2005) and have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Adoption Excellence Award for Family Contribution in 2003 and the Angels in Adoption award in 2000. My specialty lies in supporting complex blended families formed through adoption, step-parenting, fostering, kinship, and alternative reproductive technologies, with a strong focus on child welfare. Alongside my expertise in adoption, I am passionate about assisting individuals facing personal growth issues, as well as supporting artists, writers, entrepreneurs, couples, families, and family businesses through various stages of development and parenting concerns. I offer consulting and coaching sessions via phone, Zoom, or in person.
