Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Belmont, MA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our comprehensive services include personalized nutrition education and counseling tailored for families, along with expert breastfeeding support and essential supplies, such as breast pumps. Participants receive a debit card to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, ensuring access to vital nourishment. We pride ourselves on connecting families to additional resources, which may include SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. We welcome all families receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, as well as foster children under five, to explore their eligibility and join our community program focused on promoting health and well-being.
