Carter Carter, PhD, LICSW, is a skilled Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who specializes in providing individual psychotherapy through a psychoanalytic lens. With a deep commitment to understanding clients, Carter focuses on exploring their histories, needs, strengths, and aspirations for life. Recognizing the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance, they foster a safe and honest environment where clients can take emotional risks. Many of Carter's clients share common experiences, often identifying as people of color or queer individuals, and frequently face severe traumas, including abuse, neglect, and institutional betrayal.
