Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

In Acton, MA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children under five years old. WIC provides essential services including personalized nutrition and education counseling tailored for families, comprehensive breastfeeding support and resources, and access to a debit card for purchasing nutritious foods like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Our knowledgeable counselors are here to help customize food packages that best meet the needs of your family, while also connecting you with additional community resources such as SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance. Those receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth can easily find eligibility, and foster children under age five are also automatically qualified to benefit from WIC.
