At Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc., we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Youngsville, LA, and the surrounding eight parishes including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our mission focuses on providing essential services that address the diverse needs of the elderly community. We offer nutritionally balanced meals through our Congregate Meals program and Home Delivered Meals for homebound seniors. Our compassionate team also provides Elderly Protective Services, light housekeeping assistance through our Homemaker program, and in-home respite for caregivers needing a break. Legal assistance, an Ombudsman service to protect residents in Long Term Care facilities, and wellness programs aimed at mental and physical health are also available. We promote social interaction through recreational activities, regular check-in calls, transportation for essential appointments, and home visits to foster companionship. Our goal is to ensure that seniors not only receive the support they need but are also empowered to lead vibrant and fulfilling lives.
