Cajun Area Agency on Aging Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in Youngsville, LA, and the surrounding eight-parish area, including Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Our organization offers a variety of essential services tailored to meet the needs of the elderly, such as congregate meals and home-delivered meals that provide nutritious options to our homebound and disabled seniors. We also provide elderly protective services, in-home respite to support caregivers, legal assistance for necessary advocacy, and an ombudsman program to ensure seniors in long-term care facilities receive proper care and attention. Our commitment extends to recreational activities that foster social interaction, transportation assistance to medical appointments and senior centers, wellness programs aimed at improving mental and physical health, and friendly visits to offer companionship and support.
