Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Youngsville, LA, cultivates passionate, knowledgeable advocates for a just food system through hands-on training and community engagement. Our program empowers Fellows with invaluable organic food system education, ensuring equitable access to healthy food while fostering social, environmental, and economic justice. During a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in diverse activities, including growing and distributing crops, leading innovative health education sessions, and integrating food literacy into school curriculums. This fellowship promotes collaboration with local non-profits, farmers markets, and community coalitions, supporting essential initiatives such as community gardens and direct-to-consumer food programs. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility to the fellowship, encouraging individuals to apply by March for an enriching experience from May through October.
