Breastfeeding Support Group

The Breastfeeding Support Group in Winnfield, LA offers a warm and welcoming environment for mothers at all stages of their breastfeeding journey. Our meetings, led by experienced La Leche League Leaders and fellow mothers, focus on sharing experiences, providing practical suggestions, and fostering open conversations in a supportive atmosphere. We emphasize the importance of mother-to-mother connections and offer valuable nutrition education related to breastfeeding. Each meeting revolves around key topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, transitioning home with your baby, overcoming common challenges, and effective nutrition and weaning strategies. Though in-person gatherings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage expectant and new mothers to reach out for alternative support options and to connect with their local leaders for guidance.
