Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Westwego, LA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. If you participate in the Louisiana Medicaid Program, SNAP (Food Stamp) Program, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), LA CHIP, or LA MOMS benefits, you likely meet the eligibility criteria for our services. Caregivers of children aged five and under are also warmly welcomed to join our program to secure the nutritional assistance they need for their families.
