Women, Children, & Infant Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Westwego, LA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and nutritional support to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children under the age of five. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of our participants by offering supplemental nutrition benefits designed to meet the specific needs of mothers and young children. Through this program, eligible individuals can receive support for up to a year, with the opportunity to reapply afterward. We strive to create a welcoming environment where families can access healthy food resources and education that promotes a lifelong commitment to health.
