Financial Assistance Funds

Located in Westwego, LA, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by providing critical financial assistance that alleviates some of the burdens they face. Our program offers funding for essential medical expenses such as prescriptions, medical bills, and durable medical equipment, as well as non-medical costs like home modifications, clothing, and diapers. We also assist with healthcare utilization costs—including travel to medical appointments and lodging for families—and daily living expenses such as food and utilities. Each family can receive grants of up to $500 per year, with requests reviewed in order of submission to ensure timely support. We understand the challenges our families encounter and strive to respond promptly, with the aim of uplifting them through practical assistance and care.
