Located in West Monroe, LA, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food practices. This program offers a unique opportunity for participants to receive comprehensive training in organic food systems education, enabling them to advocate for an equitable and sustainable food environment. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Throughout a transformative six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected participants gain hands-on experience in diversified crop production, community gardening, and health education initiatives. After completing their training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with local non-profits to enhance food access through farmers markets, direct-to-consumer programs, and food literacy initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, empowering individuals to make a tangible impact on their communities.
