The Meal Support Program in Walker, LA, provides free and accessible meal support specifically designed for individuals aged 16 and older who are navigating eating disorder recovery at the outpatient level. Our program features live, facilitated virtual drop-in group meals, fostering a safe and welcoming environment for participants to receive peer support while enjoying nutritious meals together. Offered four times daily during designated lunch and dinner hours, individuals can join as many sessions as they wish, fitting their participation into their schedules. Each session is led by nutrition practitioners from the Clinician’s Incubator training program, who are in the process of obtaining their Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) certification. While we offer essential meal support, it's important to note that this program is not a crisis intervention service. For individuals in crisis, we encourage reaching out to dedicated support by texting HEALING to 741741 or contacting emergency services directly.
