Heather Olivier combines her extensive certifications in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and trauma therapy (CCTP) to provide support for individuals navigating the profound grief and trauma associated with perinatal loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant death. Recognizing that perinatal loss represents a loss of the future, she understands that parents may experience complex and unique grief responses that do not conform to typical grief norms. Consequently, Heather guides her clients in honoring the memory of their children while diminishing the overwhelming impact of trauma triggers and facilitating the integration of their grief. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C), Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of New Orleans, her research centers on perinatal loss, grief, and cultural norms. Through her compassionate and dedicated approach, Heather is committed to assisting others in their journey towards a happier, healthier life.
