Women, Infants & Children (WIC) in Walker, LA is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission focuses on promoting nutritious food habits through comprehensive nutrition education and providing essential supplemental foods tailored to the needs of families. We also offer vital breastfeeding promotion and support, along with referrals for health care services to ensure that families receive holistic care and resources for healthy development.
