Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Located in Walker, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to supporting eligible seniors through essential food assistance. We provide monthly nutritional food boxes filled with wholesome items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and essential staples like cheese and milk, all aimed at promoting a healthy diet. Alongside our food distribution, we empower seniors with nutrition education, sharing simple recipes and tips on how to make meals nutritious while stretching their food budgets.
