At CORE, located in Walker, LA, we are dedicated to providing essential financial assistance to families working in the restaurant industry who face financial challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. Our support encompasses a variety of needs, including rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, medical expenses, and childcare costs, ensuring that families can maintain stability during difficult times. We understand the unique struggles that restaurant employees encounter, and our program is designed to alleviate some of the pressures associated with unforeseen circumstances. Eligible families can reapply for assistance 12 months after their last grant, allowing us to continue supporting them through ongoing or new challenges, with a lifetime cap of $7,500 for those in need. At CORE, we strive to ease burdens and foster resilience in our community.
