Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Walker, LA US
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Walker, LA is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in food justice through hands-on, practical training and education in sustainable agriculture. This fellowship provides a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to immerse themselves in an organic food system, where they will learn to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement innovative health initiatives, and support local food coalition activities. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility for passionate individuals eager to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Over a six-month residential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows acquire essential skills and knowledge, ultimately participating in a Community Action Year where they apply their expertise alongside regional non-profit organizations. We invite those interested in creating impactful change in food access and education to complete their application by March for a transformative journey from May to October.
