Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Thibodaux, LA, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to empowering individuals who are passionate about creating a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This program offers valuable organic food system education to inspire the next generation of advocates and teachers in sustainable agriculture. Through hands-on experiences, fellows work on diverse projects such as growing and distributing crops in a market-style setting, leading innovative health care education, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy in schools. They also play a vital role in supporting farmers markets and enhancing local access to healthy foods. Each selected fellow participates in a transformative six-month residency at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge with regional non-profits. With a commitment to accessibility, we do not charge tuition for this impactful learning experience. Interested applicants are invited to apply by March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
