Breastfeeding Support Group

The Breastfeeding Support Group in Thibodaux, LA, is dedicated to providing a welcoming space for expectant, new, and experienced mothers to connect and share their breastfeeding journeys. Our meetings, facilitated by La Leche League Leaders and fellow mothers, foster an atmosphere of support and encouragement, allowing for valuable mother-to-mother sharing. Participants can engage in discussions on vital topics including the benefits of breastfeeding, transitioning home with a newborn, overcoming common challenges, and nutritional guidance for both mother and baby. Though in-person gatherings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local leaders are available to offer support and explore alternative meeting options to ensure mothers receive the assistance they need during this important time.
