Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Tallulah, LA is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission includes providing access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for growth and development, offering nutrition education aimed at improving dietary and health practices, and delivering supportive resources for breastfeeding mothers. Furthermore, we assist families with referrals to additional health services, ensuring comprehensive care.
