Senior Food Assistance Program

In Tallulah, LA, the Senior Food Assistance Program, part of the Food Bank of NELA, is dedicated to supporting low-income seniors aged 60 and older by offering vital food assistance that helps them manage their food budgets effectively. Each month, we provide generous supplemental food packages, typically containing around 30 pounds of nutritious non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, cereal, and snacks. Our mission is to ensure that older adults in our community have access to healthy food, providing both sustenance and peace of mind.
