Food for Families / Food for Seniors

Located in Sulphur, LA, Food for Families / Food for Seniors, a program under Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to eligible seniors in our community. Each month, we distribute carefully curated nutritional food boxes that include vital ingredients such as canned meats, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of grains designed to promote a balanced diet. Beyond just food, our program emphasizes nutrition education by offering valuable guidance on meal preparation, budgeting for groceries, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We strive to empower our seniors with the knowledge they need to make informed food choices while ensuring they receive the nourishment they deserve.
