MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Shreveport, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen Veterans annually for obesity, connecting them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. Participants can engage in various care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system. For those who wish to take a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers a self-management solution. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges after participating in MOVE!.
