Layne Bonvillain

Layne Bonvillain has dedicated over 30 years to providing care for adults and adolescents facing psychiatric and substance use disorders. Passionate about the welfare of her clients, she takes pride in helping them navigate personal obstacles and enhance their quality of life by reaching goals they once deemed unattainable. Her professional affiliations speak to her commitment and expertise: she is a former Regional Chair of NASW, a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and involved with the National Association of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors, as well as serving as an Education Provider for the Louisiana Addictive Disorders Regulatory Authority. Layne is committed to supporting individuals and families in their recovery from substance abuse and other psychiatric disorders. She offers comprehensive outpatient counseling and Intensive Outpatient Programs, which encompass individual, group, and family sessions. Her approach includes education, counseling, and ongoing relapse prevention and support groups. With master's level certifications in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and hypnotherapy, Layne utilizes these techniques effectively to address emotional, sexual, and physical trauma. Utilizing NLP in the psychotherapy process, she finds that many trauma-related issues, including PTSD and various phobias, can be efficiently managed.
