Jacquelyn Kirby

Jacquelyn Kirby is a dedicated therapist who believes that sometimes people with the most challenging pasts can create the brightest futures. Her mission is to assist individuals in achieving those futures, recognizing that everyone faces struggles, failures, and regrets. Jacquelyn understands that acknowledging these battles is a crucial step forward. In her practice, she provides a welcoming environment where clients are met with non-judgment, compassion, professionalism, and authenticity. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Additionally, she is an EMDR Provider and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, among various other certifications. Jacquelyn works with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide range of issues such as trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief, and chronic mental illness. In addition to in-office therapy sessions, she offers both individual and group therapy online to better serve the needs of her clients across Louisiana. With a solid therapeutic relationship at the core of her practice, Jacquelyn is committed to fostering positive growth and change in those she supports.
