Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Shreveport, LA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutritional habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families through essential services, including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare services. By focusing on immediate and accessible food assistance, we aim to enhance the well-being of our community's most vulnerable members, ensuring they have the resources needed for a healthy start in life.
