The Diabetes & Nutrition Center in Shreveport, LA, is proud to be the first diabetes self-management education program recognized by the American Diabetes Association in the Shreveport-Bossier metropolitan area. Our mission is to empower individuals with diabetes to actively manage their health through comprehensive education provided by Certified Diabetes Educators. We offer specialized services such as insulin pump training, gestational diabetes management, and intensive insulin therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients. Additionally, our registered dietitians deliver medical nutrition therapy, focusing on lifestyle management, weight control, and reducing the risk of chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease and hypertension.
