MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Saint Amant, LA, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. With a mission to combat obesity among Veterans, MOVE! annually screens those receiving care at VA facilities, connecting them to a variety of effective weight management options that suit their individual needs and preferences. Participants can engage in supportive group sessions, benefit from personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer greater independence, our MOVE! Coach mobile app offers a self-managed approach. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
