MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Ruston, LA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to provide each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities with comprehensive annual screenings for obesity, individualized referrals to weight management services, and a variety of treatment options tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer diverse support methods, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-managed weight control. For those facing ongoing challenges, we also facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery. Interested Veterans can connect with their local MOVE!
