Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

In Ruston, LA, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide access to nutrient-rich supplemental foods essential for healthy growth and development, along with comprehensive nutrition education aimed at enhancing dietary choices and overall health. We offer valuable information and encouragement for breastfeeding mothers and connect families with additional health services. To enroll in our program, please visit the WIC clinic and bring everyone who is enrolling on the day of your scheduled appointment.
