Senior Food Assistance Program

The Senior Food Assistance Program in Ruston, LA, is dedicated to supporting low-income seniors 60 and older by providing essential food assistance to help stretch their food budgets. Each month, participants receive a box filled with approximately 30 pounds of nutritious, non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, cereal, pasta, and snacks, carefully curated based on available inventory. Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity among seniors in our community, ensuring they have access to the healthy food they need to thrive.
