USDA Commodities

In Raceland, LA, the USDA Commodities program, operated by the Lafourche Parish Office of Community Action, is dedicated to combating hunger by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes without the basic nutritional support they require. We distribute emergency food once a month, making sure that our community members have access to the resources necessary for a healthy diet. To participate, simply bring your driver's license when you visit us, and confirm the distribution location with a quick call. Together, we can nourish our community and provide support to those facing food insecurity.
