Food for Families and Food for Seniors, part of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans in Raceland, LA, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to seniors in need. Our monthly nutritional food boxes are designed to nourish and empower eligible seniors through not only provisions but also education. Each food box is thoughtfully curated to include essential items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, breakfast cereals, and dairy products, ensuring a balanced diet is within reach. We also equip our participants with valuable nutritional information, sharing easy-to-make recipes and tips on managing food costs and maintaining a healthy diet.
